1.1 ASAQS Members:
1.1.1 A once-off annual fee of R 945 (ex VAT) will be added to your membership renewal invoice as a voluntary option. This is not a compulsory additional fee, but an option that we encourage you to take full advantage of. Should you choose to pay your membership fees only, we will assume that you have elected not to take up this CUSTOM-MADE CPD 2024 offering and will be paying for your CPD engagements on an ad hoc basis, either at current ASAQS, or standard industry CPD rates.
1.1.2 Once the additional fee (including your membership fee) has been paid, your participation in the CUSTOM-MADE CPD 2024 programme will be activated. You are then at liberty to select some or attend all of the CPD on offer.
1.2 Non-members:
1.2.1 If you are not an ASAQS member, you will need to pay for your CPD engagements on an ad hoc basis, either at current non-member or standard industry CPD rates.
1.2.2 To access the once-off annual payment of R 945 (ex VAT) for CPD on offer, you must first become an ASAQS member. To register as a member contact Ashika on (011) 315-4140 or membership@asaqs.co.za for assistance.

Ad-hoc fees registration fees for ASAQS members or non-members are as advertised per event.2.2 Full payment is required at least 3 working days before the event
2.3 Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
2.4 No-show without at least 3 working days prior notice will be charged the full registration fee.
2.5 Substitution is allowed, provided the ASAQS is informed, and the registration details are changed accordingly at least 3 working days before the event.
2.6 Cancellations and refunds will only be accepted in writing 3 working days prior to the event.
2.7 Cancellations on the day of the event may result in the forfeiture of the registration fees.
3.1 The CUSTOM-MADE CPD 2024 programme is active from 1st April to 30 October 2024.
3.2 The R 945 (ex VAT) annual fee is a “once-off” option and cannot be pro-rated over time.
3.3 Payment terms will be considered on request at the discretion of the ASAQS (To inquire, please contact administration@asaqs.co.za).
3.4 No CPD hours will be awarded or CPD certificates released prior to full payment being received, with presence and participation adequately verified.
3.5 Webinar notes, subject to the approval of the presenter, are available for distribution to registered and paid-up attendees only.
3.6 Webinar recordings are not available for distribution.
3.7 Webinar recordings are available for multiple viewing via the ASAQS CPD REWIND online portal at no additional cost for participants who have paid their once-off annual CUSTOM-MADE CPD fee in full. The recordings are viewable online only and cannot be downloaded. No CPD hours will be awarded for viewing recordings on CPD REWIND. This offering will be available after the webinar has been recorded until the 30th November 2024
3.8 The ASAQS reserves the right to refuse participants entry into the event, change the event programme, postpone, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including without limitation any fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence, or any other matter that renders performance of the event impractical or impossible.

4.1 To earn your CPD Hours for attending a webinar you are required to:
4.1.1 Register and pay for the event
4.1.2 Be present online for the duration of the webinar
4.1.3 When the webinar is presented in parts, be present online for each part
4.1.4 Participate by completing the “Polls” and making use of the “Q&A” and/or the “Chat” function.
4.1.5 Meeting these requirements will ensure that you receive an attendance certificate on completion of the webinar, or all the parts thereof when presented in parts
4.2 How are these requirements monitored?
4.2.1 The webinar software records the time that you enter, and the time that you leave the webinar, providing proof of presence.
4.2.2 It also records every time you make use of the “Chat” or “Q&A” function and when you complete a “Poll”, all providing proof of participation
4.2.3 The software identifies you by your e-mail address. To ensure the accuracy of your records, please use the same e-mail address when joining a webinar, or all the parts thereof when presented in parts
4.3 ASAQS/EduTech are not responsible for:
4.3.1 Any problems you may experience trying to join the webinar.
4.3.2 Any problems with your internet connectivity during the webinar.
4.3.3 However, to assist you in this regard, we are prepared to award you a CPD Certificate of Attendance if you were present for at least 75% of the duration of the webinar, or all the parts thereof when presented in parts.
4.3.4 No refunds will be made where CPD Certificates of Attendance cannot be released.
5.1 You:5.1.1 Acknowledge that you provide your personal information voluntarily / provide the personal information of the registering person voluntarily and with the required authority;
5.1.2 Acknowledge that ASAQS will use the information for the purposes of:
5.1.2.1 Conducting ASAQS usual business with which you are familiar;
5.1.2.2 Processing your webinar registration;
5.1.2.3 Conducting webinars; and
5.1.2.4 Purposes reasonably related and ancillary thereto, (the Described Uses).
5.1.3 Consent to ASAQS processing and further processing the personal information, including but not limited to collecting, recording, organizing, disseminating, making the personal information available, for the Described Uses
5.1.4 Consent to ASAQS retaining records of the personal information for so long as ASAQS deems it necessary in its sole discretion; and
5.1.5 Accept the contents of this document as adequate notification of the collection and processing of the personal information by ASAQS and, insofar as is necessary, consent to ASAQS failing to provide full notification as contemplated by Section 18 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
